October 02, 2000 - Exclusive to Wireless Week - Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima - President/CEO of AmikaNow! has been selected as one of Engineering Women of Wireless by Wireless Week Magazine.


To qualify as an "engineering woman,” a nominee had to serve in a technical, engineering or software position at a North American wireless industry carrier, vendor, association or government agency for at least the past three years. The 27 who were selected by Wireless Week editors represent a cross-section of industry technical women.

May 01, 2000 - Dr. Sue Abu-Hakima was a winner in the 2000 Ottawa Business Journal Awards "Forty under 40".


Sue was one of the 40 individuals, all of them younger than 40 years of age, that were chosen last May by panel of judges for their accomplishments in business arena and the community. The winners were honoured at a special Gala evening in conjunction with COMMERCE 2000.
